Apple Cobbler Pie | Recipe

- Pie crust
- 3 Granny Smith apples
- Lemons or Lemon juice
- Granulated sugar
- Brown sugar
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Flour
- Butter
- Brown paper grocery bag
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°
- Bowl 1: Filling
- 3 peeled sliced apples
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg
- Powder mixture:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp white flower
- Bowl 2: Topping (double amount for extra ‘cobble’)
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine (1 stick = 1/2 cup)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- After mixing add:
- 1/2 cup flour
Put filling then topping into crust
Place into brown bag and staple shut
- Bag is optional; without it:
- Results are more golden crispy
- If not using a bag, use a drip guard
